DIY Kratom Soap
Kratom is a well-known plant that one can find in the market nowadays. Many individuals have discovered that there are numerous benefits of Kratom; skincare is one of them. Kratom, Mitragyna speciosa, is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia where it has been used in herbal remedies since the nineteenth century.
It’s important to note that while indigenous peoples and some health authorities recognize potential health and wellness benefits for Kratom or products containing Kratom, the FDA, which oversees the use and regulation of substances like Kratom, is not one of them, deeming it fit to be sold for research purposes only. As an adult, however, it is within your rights to conduct your own independent research using the limited studies available as well as anecdotal evidence to decide if Kratom is right for you.
Over the past decade or so, customers in the beauty industry have started moving toward products that are made from natural plants. This is because of the countless toxic chemicals that exist in most bath products, as these chemicals are bad for the skin.
First of all, by having Kratom in their soap, customers will be adding natural exfoliating properties to their Kratom soaps and lotions! These properties are unique compared to normal soaps, which has resulted in high demand. Secondly, Kratom soap has several antibacterial properties because of its alkaloid composition! These properties will provide benefits to the skin if the correct Kratom quantity is added to the soap. A third point: Anti-Oxidant – Kratom contains two important compounds your skin will thank you for: catechin and Rhamnose. These compounds, which are found in other plants as well, fight oxidation, the process by which oxygen damages cells. For your skin, that can mean drier, older-looking skin.
Want to know the reason countless Kratom enthusiasts are searching for the correct amount of Kratom to make soap? It’s because having the correct measurements in your soap will lead to several benefits that your everyday soap can’t provide! Many vendors will encapsulate their kratom powders to ensure consistent and well measured proportions for every recipe with less effort on your part.
